Enjoyed my stay here while exploring the breathtaking Laguna de los Tres hiking trail. The cozy common areas made for a perfect spot to unwind after long days of trekking, and the views of Fitz Roy from the garden were incredible. The location was just a short walk from the main street and bus terminal, making it easy to get around town. I appreciated the comfy beds and cleanliness throughout the facility.

My journey from doubt to delight
The location was a breeze to navigate, clean facilities made me feel at home, and the staff were incredibly helpful in planning my hikes.
Breakfast options were somewhat limited, and I found the shared bathroom situation less than ideal at times.

Request an early breakfast if you plan to hike early—it sets you up perfectly for a long day in the mountains.

The freshly baked bread at breakfast was a highlight, perfect fuel for hikes. The location is a stone’s throw from Fitz Roy trailhead, making early treks a breeze, while the cleanliness of rooms and shared spaces adds to the comfort. My only regret? Not extending my stay.
However, the staff could use some hospitality training. The breakfast coffee left much to be desired compared to other spots in El Chaltén, and the curtains barely blocked out streetlight. talk about testing your sleep cycle! Plus, our final day felt rushed with a mix-up over the bill that left us uneasy.

The freshly baked bread at breakfast was a delightful highlight, perfect for fueling up before our hikes.
I was quite disappointed with the hot water situation in the shower. it was scalding hot without any warning, which made for an uncomfortable experience.

i almost thought this place would be decent, until the morning front desk ladies decided to welcome me with cold shoulders. nothing like a burned hand from scalding hot water to ruin a day, either. expected a complimentary upgrade for all the inconveniences but was just treated like a regular guest. what a disappointment.

The warm, cozy atmosphere serves as a perfect retreat after long treks, complemented by the outstanding service from staff who assist with everything from early breakfasts to trek advice. Waking up to breathtaking views of Fitz Roy right from the room is an unforgettable experience. Breakfast offerings included delicious cheese rolls, adding a delightful touch to the stay. However, the shared bathroom setup could be awkward for some, and the noise from the common areas occasionally disrupted the quiet ambiance.
